If you get an error manually installing social club setup - lets see it. Can try manually running the installer there to install social club - preferably after you've thoroughly cleaned all social club and r* launcher off the pc. It should be downloading those updates to c / program files / rockstar games / launcher / redistributables / social club. R* launcher then updates itself/social club. Steam also attempts to install R* launcher/social club on first launch.
